It's been pretty quiet here for the last few weeks and will unfortunately remain so for a while due to a bereavement in the family. Shipping and support will of course continue and maybe some game development will also happen. I hope you stay in touch with Boardgame Racoon and enjoy the games until then.

We rebuild our online shop, so it's now possible to order a game from outside Germany. Until now it was not that neccesary, but as we also offer an English version of Beetween Light & Shadow, you can now order it directly. We will try to build up the online store, so you will have tho opportunity to get other games in english too or at least the print & play version of them.

Finally! Today the boxes for Clou - Roll & Heist Again! and Between Light & Shadow finally arrived with a delay of more than a week. Despite the obligatory post-fair cold, we'll start sending out the fair orders today.

This year, the SPIEL fair will take place in Essen from 5 to 8 October. This year, Boardgame Racoon will be there again. You can find us in hall 3 at booth N130. Come and visit us, but what can you expect?

While more and more things are being sorted out with the printers for the autumn novelties, we are of course still on the road to present the games. This week we'll be visiting some game clubs and from 18-20 August you'll find us at the NiederrheinCon in Wesel, directly at the entrance on place 11.

After another round of feedback with a lot of test games of Between Light & Shadow, some more changes have been made. The basic game and mechanics all received great reviews from the test players. The in-game campaign also got mostly positive evaluations. However, one sub-scenario fell off a bit in quality. Of course, we couldn't just leave it at that and sat down at the design table again.

Here you can see what Boardgame Racoon has planned for 2023: the main focus is on Between Light & Shadow, the solo adventure game that is currently being finalized and will be released soon.

Between Light & Shadow is making great progress. Both in development and in testing and improving through your feedback, we have made several steps forward and have already reached the beta phase of testing. So you won't have to wait much longer until you can start Mara's great adventure. But what has actually improved?

Between Light & Shadow is making tremendous progress in its development. The game sheets are ready, the basic game is well playable and the scenarios, if not yet fully balanced, are at least playable enough to bring a great amount of variety to the game.
