Preview demo for Between Light & Shadow
While we are preparing everything for the crowdfunding campaign, there is already something for you to do: to play a game! As a small preview of what you can expect from Between Light & Shadow, we have prepared a small, 2-page demo, which you can simply download and print out. All you need is a pen, 6 6-sided dice and a game figure and you can start your adventure.
If you want, you don't even have to read the rules. On the demo page there is also a video that explains all the rules. Of course, this demo only gives you a small insight into the game, but it already shows you some of the basic mechanics and the general feel of the game. In the final game, you can expect a large map with a complete quest and event system, an even more sophisticated combat system, which will make you think twice, a campaign with different scenarios, where not only the mechanics and the game objectives change every time, but you also play from the point of view of a different character each scenario and thus experience the story from different angles and can influence the world and the experiences of the other characters through your actions.
